Other news websites are free. Why do I have to pay to read The Post and Courier?

The Post and Courier is South Carolina’s largest and most well-read Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper, offering rich, unparalleled coverage of state and national politics, crime, business, personal finance, sports and features. It’s “real news” written by award-winning journalist that live in and care about our community.

Content is available through multiple digital channels, including postandcourier.com, mobile apps, tablet apps and a variety of associated websites.

Charging a minimal fee for full access to these channels will allow us to continue delivering the highest quality journalism at the lowest possible cost.

For non-subscribers, access to postandcourier.com will be limited to 2 stories every month, with the exception of job postings, real estate listings, display advertising, coupons, deals, obituaries and the weather. Current print subscribers automatically receive access to our websites, mobile and tablet apps at no charge.

How do I download the mobile phone and tablets apps that I receive for free with my subscription?

You can download our apps from the Apple or Android store. Once the apps are downloaded, you will be given information on how to access the content.

Which custom publications can I receive as a member benefit, and how do I sign up?

Tideline magazine covers boating and fishing and is published every other month. Lowcountry Parent, published monthly, focuses on families with elementary school children.

Print subscribers can sign up for home delivery of any of our niche publicationshere.

You must request delivery to receive these magazines.

How can I access your archives?

Four years of newspaper archives are available to print and digital subscribersthrough the E-Paper. To access the E-Paper use the link on the upper left hand corner of the home page. Archives older than four years are available at additional charges. Please click on the Archives link under Customer Service for pricing and other information.

Vacation Stop Policy

All subscribers of The Post and Courier receive complimentary access to www.postandcourier.com, our E-Paper and all tablet and mobile applications. While away on vacation subscribers may stop daily service of their print subscription, but the digital service will remain available. Therefore, the daily charge will continue for the digital service. Subscribers can elect to have all newspapers delivered in a “vacation package” upon their return.
